Altsource USA was established to provide an alternate source of used or rebuilt components to The Ryan Companies and to the public.

The initial strategy was to purchase used or damaged equipment, and to rebuild those components for resale.

While Altsource now offers a wide variety of components and parts, both new and rebuilt, its specialty is Volvo articulated trucks and loaders.

To maintain its inventory of major components, rebuilds are handled on an exchange basis - this policy, with continual added purchases, provides for a stable and growing inventory.
