Boynton Beach, was built for Elkins , FL Constructors of Jacksonville FL, and it consisted of clearing the site, installation of all underground utilities including stormwater, water distribution system, sanitary sewer system, exportation of unsuitable fill, all associated paving, including stabilized subgrade, limerock, curb and gutter, sidewalks, signage and striping.
Wal-Mart store projects were complete site packages and in Florida the Ryans recently built Wal-Mart sites in 4 separate locations, Pompano Beach, Ocoee, Viera, and Boynton Beach. As an example, the one in Pompano Beach was a complete site renovation of 36 acres with associated building pads, large parking lots, sidewalks around the property, and a full underground utility system. It also required off-site turn lanes, entrance roads, and curb and gutter for Atlantic Boulevard, Race track Road and Powerline Road, which bordered the property.
Costco
in Boca Raton included all the site underground, and paving work, but was done under very limiting conditions. All the permits were not available when the work started, so the initial Ryan Contract work was delayed until after other trades had begun their work. While the Ryan contract was done on time, the coordination with the trades and the moves to and from the site made the work very difficult.
